Sustainable Materials

Advantage Blow Mouldings is working with BEACON Wales, a collaboration between Aberystwyth, Bangor, Swansea and South Wales universities promoting the development and use of bioplastics. Bioplastics are polymers derived from ethanol produced from renewable plant sources or biowaste rather than ethanol distilled in petrol chemical processes.

The image shows part of Aberystwyth University where research into the production of crop derived ethanol is undertaken.

We are also working with WRAP Cymru whose sole purpose is to promote the use of recycled plastics in Wales, in a sustainable model.

If your project would benefit from using polymers derived from a sustainable bio source or recycled polymers, we can work in conjunction with the BEACON project or WRAP Cymru.
