Advantage Blow Mouldings can help with the design and manufacture of your production tooling, providing a choice of cost-effective options. We work with UK and offshore toolmakers, managing the tooling manufacture and pre-production sampling on your behalf.

Blow Moulding Tools are manufactured predominantly from Aluminium, with steel inserts used as necessary, for example, in areas subject to wear, such as thread forms.

Aluminium tools are capable of giving 1,500,000 to 2,000,000 cycles with maintenance As all our products are manufactured in lower volumes, we use aluminium tools extensively which are quicker to produce and less costly than steel tools.

The image displays a tool that is constructed from Aluminium and is used to manufacture a windscreen washer reservoir. It has retractable steel inserts that form the pocket features that hold the windscreen washer pump in place.

 Tool Maintenance. Once the tooling has been laid down and proven, we can store and maintain your tools between production runs. We employ a time served toolmaker and carry out tool maintenance in-house and have the capability to carry out minor tooling modifications.
